Mangalore, May 27: In a shocking incident, a father killed his one-and-half-year old daughter at Pandeshwar here on Monday May 26.
Suresh (32), son of Tangavelu and husband of Rekha (19), a resident of Shivanagar, Pandeshwar, hit his daughter against the wall in a fit of rage when he came to know that the child had ventured out of the house and onto the road to play. The baby died instantly.
Sources stated that Suresh married Rekha after his first wife passed away a few years ago. The couple seemingly had differences over family matters and fought among themselves frequently in the past few days, sourced stated.
Pandeshwar police have registered a case in this regard and taken Suresh into custody.
