Mangalore: AHINDA Alleges Malpractice by Private Colleges

Mangalore, May 29: AHINDA has urged the commissioner of pre-university education to investigate the alleged malpractices by private pre-university colleges with regards to admission procedure.

A press release stated that as per schedule, May 12 was the date for issue of applications, May 15 to receive the filled applications and May 20 was the date for colleges to display the selection list, based on merit and reservation.

Lolaksha alleged that some of the colleges have already completed the admission process by taking donations and accused them of ignoring students from backward and minority communities.

Ahinda has demanded that colleges flouting the admission norms should be de-recognised and that the admission process should start all over again,stated the release.
