Mangalore, May 29: The new advisory board for Konkani of Central Sahitya Akademi for the period 2008 to 2012 has been formed.

The following have been elected:

Edwin J F D'Souza, Mangalore (member of the general council)
Dr Prakash Vazrikar – Goa
Bhushan Bhave – Goa
Dr Madhavi Sardesai – Goa
Fr Francis Rodrigues – Mangalore (editor of 'Raknno')
Dr Chandrashekhar Shenoy – Mumbai
Willy Goes – Goa
Louis Rodrigues – Belgaum
P N Shivanand Shenoy – Kerala
Pundalik Naik, Goa (convenor and member of the executive council)
