Mangaluru, Sep 11: Department of Information Science and Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, near here, on Friday, September 8, organised one-day hands-on workshop on 'Basics of NS2, implementation and applications'.
The workshop was conducted by prof Ramakrishna M, assistant professor, senior scale, department of Informationand Communication Technology, MIT Manipal. Te workshop was to help students understand basic skills needed to solve computer networks related problems using NS2- Network Simulator.
Due to a need of continuity in learning, teams were formed and mini projects were assigned to the students.
