Mangaluru, Sep 12: Vishwa Konkani Kendra, on Monday, September 11, screened a documentary film here on Jagadish Gandhi's research on Sarawathi River.

Mumbai's Jagadish Gandhi conducted a research for the last 55 years on the source and flow of Saraswathi River which is holds a great place in Indian tradition and culture. He captured it through satellite technology and revealved that the river flowed underground as well.

Vishwa Konkani founder president and 'Vishwa Konkani Sardar' Basti Vamana Shenoy, convener of Konkani teaching in schools Dr Mohan Pai, popular farmer of Udupi R P Kamath, Konkani cultural association president Aruna G Shet, Konkani study center convener Dr Jayawanth Nayak, Vasanthi R Nayak, M R Kamath, Vittal Kudva, Santhosh Shenoy, Rathnaker Kudva, Vishwa Konkani language foundation assistant director Gurudath Bantwalkar and others were present as audience.
