Bengaluru: Rains to continue till November 9 in coastal areas

Bengaluru, Nov 8: Moderate rains will continue until Thursday, November 9, in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Bengaluru city as per the forecast of the Indian Meteorological department.

The rains have been lashing since Sunday, November 5, in several parts of the state. Bengaluru, Puttu, Madikeri, Chikkamagaluru and Hassan have received good rainfall on Tuesday, November 7.

Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts have been receiving rains since Monday, November 6, due to the surface storm that has developed in coastal Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mangaluru international airport area, Mangaluru city and Moodigere have received 4 cm rainfall since the morning of Monday, November 6. Panambur, Mani, Madikeri, Chikkamagaluru city, Aloor, Malavalli and Pavagada have seen 2 cm of rainfall. 1 cm rainfall is recorded in Moodbidri, Kota, Bagamandala, Madapura, Kottigehara, Tarikere, Kadoor, Arakalagoodu, Holenarasipura, Srirangapatna, Belloor, chitradurga, Tiptur and Madhugiri.
