Udupi, Nov 9: M B Puranik urged the locals to come forward to help accomodate the seers, saints and swamijis who will be coming here from distant places in large numbers for the Dharma Samsad which will be held from November 24 to November 26. He urged them to provide a room or part of their house or office premises for this noble cause.

He said that arrangements have been made for the stay of 200-400 seers. However, they expect a total of 800 seers to arrive for the occasiom.

"The nuclear family System is increasing in Hindus. This is an opportunity to get blessings from the Swamijis. We know that Indians are good in hospitality. So I request the people of the city to provide good hospitality to them with shelter. Some people may have wishes to perform 'pada pooja'. This will make the Swamijis happy," he added.

There will be a 'Chappara Muhurtha' for Dharma Samsad at Royal Garden on Friday November 10 at 12 noon.
