Moodbidri, Nov 9: After two motor bikes coming from opposite directions got involved in a head-on collision at Khandiga Mugerkala near Beluvai on Karkala - Moodbidri national highway, one of the riders lost his life. Two others suffered injuries.
The unfortunate motor bike rider who died in the accident was Narayana Naik (28), working as tempo driver. He was a resident of five cents colony in Amboori, Beluvai. Sathish and Praveen, residents of Beluvai Kukkudelu survived with minor injuries.
Narayana Naik was riding his motor bike toward the town from Beluvai, while Sathish was going towards Karkala from the town when the accident happened.
A case stands registered at the town police station here.
