Puttur: Knocked down by motor bike, pedestrian loses life

Puttur, Nov 14: In an accident which happened near Ichilampady bridge within the limits of Kadaba police station in the taluk on Monday November 13, a woman pedestrian who was walking by the side of the road, was killed after a motor bike knocked her down.

The accident happened on Mardala - Periyashanthi state highway. The victim was Honnamma (59), wife of late Lingappa Kumbar from Berike in Noojibalthila village. In this accident, the motorbike rider, Prashanth from Nelyady, was also injured. He stands admitted into a private hospital in the town.

Honnamma has left behind a son and two daughters. Kadaba police has registered a case and begun probe.
