Puttur, Mar 10: Astrologer Balachandra Acharya (34) was arrested by Puttur police on Thursday, March 8 for allegedly raping a girl. He was remanded to judicial custody.

This incident happened at Nekkila of Bannur. Balachandra is said to have committed this crime when the girl had come with her parents in order to find solutions for their issues. The astrologer sent the parents outside on the pretext of warding off the evil spirits on the girl and alleged to have raped her.

    Even at this time ,people should now stop visiting astro .lions.Last comes your money is gone,nothing is correct.Now this girl lost her virginity if reports are correct.Why didnt they take her to doctor for investigation?before going to astrologer?Hope they took girl afterwards atleast to be examined.Nowadays cant believe everything what girl or others say.investigate properly first.If found guilty the door to the jail should be opened and throw him in there.
