Mangaluru, Jun 13: Three students of Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL) have secured more than 560 marks in NEET 2018 held in May, which is considered as the top score in the exam. These students are eligible to get seat in any medical college of their choice in Karnataka.
Rashmi Kasangeri scored 587 marks, Sourav V scored 586 and Unnathi Nayak scored 561. Rashmi Kasangeri secured All India Rank 11 (category).
NEET is the national level examination for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. CBSE is the conducting authority which organizes the NEET examination every year in various cities across the country. NEET exam is the only gateway for admissions into medical and dental UG courses offered by various government and private medical colleges of the country. All medical institutions consider NEET score for providing admission in MBBS/BDS courses.

As many as 13,26,725 students appeared for NEET 2018 examination and 7,14,562 students qualified for the National Eligibility–cum-Entrance Test (NEET) counselling admissions.
Pathyush P Poduval, student of CFAL Mangaluru has been selected for the team of five Indian students to represent India in the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) 2018.
In 2017, CFAL student Aditya Prakash was one among the six students who represented India in the International Math Olympiad held in Brazil.
