A company of 150 armed personnel reached the city on Thursday. Speaking to daijiworld.com, SP Satheesh Kumar informed that the RPF has been deployed in the district to maintain law and order here.

It may be noted that several churches in the districts were targeted by miscreants recently, simultaneously. A team of senior officials from the centre, deputed by the ministry of home for assessing the situation in the state, visited the city during this week. The team had expressed its dissatisfaction over the steps taken by the district administration and the police, to protect the prayer centres belonging to the minorities and also in handling the protests in the aftermath.

Meanwhile, police sources has got the information that the miscreants are planning to disturb peace in the district during Ramzan. On the other hand, the city has also been on the radar of the terrorists' activities. All these factors have forced senior officials to deploy central paramilitary forces in the district.

Lets not opt for temporary fixes. This will not help so long as the perpertrators or 'traitors' are free and continue with their acts of sacrilege. What is important to a law abiding defenceless citizen is the "Rule of Law".
