Mumbai: 'Srujana Mumbai' releases four Kannada books

Mumbai, Jul 2: 'Srujana Balaga', group of Kannada authoresses from the city on Saturday evening, June 30 released four books at mini hall of Mysore Association, Bhavudaji road, Matunga east here. Meena Kalavara, co convener chaired the programme.

Veteran author Dr Vishwanath Karnad released 'Samaradhane', by Dr Sunitha M Shetty, Mysore Association Mumbai president Kamala Kantaraj released 'Odu Mugisida Mele' by various authors, well known critic of the land, Dr K Raghunath released 'Varthula', a collection of works by Dr Dakshanyini Yadahalli and a collection of Janapada songs 'Avvandira Hadugalu'.



Dr Dakshayini Yadahalli welcomed the gathering and delivered the keynote address. The programme was held under the aegis of Mysore Association and Srajana. Dr Sunitha M Shetty and Hema Sadanand Ameen who were on the dais presented the books to the guests and honored them.

Dr Dakshayini Yadahalli welcomed everyone. Vani Shetty introduced the guests and compered the programme. Sharada Ambesangi sang a prayer song and proposed the vote of thanks.
