Mumbai: BSKB Association magazine to feature story competition

Mumbai, Jul 5: BSKB Association will bring out their November 2018 Gokulavani monthly magazine as Deepavali special issue. An all India story competition is proposed on the occasion. Selected stories will be awarded Rs ten thousand as first prize, Rs five thousand as second prize and Rs three thousand as third prize. Two stories that are liked by the judges will be presented Rs one thousand each, said Gokulavani honorary editor Dr Vyasaraya Ninjooru.

There are certain rules for the competition. It should be a self creation. Translation, rewriting or imitation is not allowed. A participant can send only one story. It should be restricted to 2,000 words. The story should be handwritten or printed on one side of the paper. It can be sent by speed post or email. The name of the story, name of the author, address, mobile number and email id should be mentioned on a separate sheet of paper. If the name of the author is written on any page of the story, the story will be rejected.

The stories received for the competition will not be returned. The decision of the judges is final. Correspondence or phone calls are not allowed. The last date for receiving stories is September 25. The results will be published in Gokulavani special issue and local newspapers. Stories must be sent to: Editor, Gokulavani, Kannada monthly, BSKB Association, Plot No. 273, Gokul Marg, Sion (E), Mumbai 400 022.
