Mumbai: Kannada Sangha Santacruz celebrates annual Ashada festival

Mumbai, Jul 28: Kannada Sangha Santacruz recently celebrated annual Ashada festival at Rajyog auditorium, Kherwadi, Bandra east.

President of the Sangha, L V Ameen presided over the programme. He presented flower bouquets to the supporters of the sangha, Sadananda Safaliga, Billava Chamber of Commerce and Industries president N T Poojary, Billavara Association Mumbai vice president Harish J Ameen, Sai Care group's Surendra A Poojary and Bunts Sangha Mumbai's Andheri-Bandra regional committee president Dr R K Shetty on behalf of the Sangha and congratulated them.



Joint secretary of the Sangha, Chandrahasa J Kotian, executive committee members Govinda R Bangera, Suma M Poojary, Shalini S Shetty, advisory committee members B R Poonja, N M Sanil, specially invited members Vijayakumar K Kotian, Usha V Shetty, Harish J Poojary, Sujatha Sudhaker Uchil, education committee president Bannanje Ravindra Ameen, secretary Shakila P Shetty, social and cultural committee president Vanitha Y Nonda and Doddaguthu Bhujanga Shetty, Bhoja M Shetty, V K Shetty of Tender fresh, Sujatha Gunapal Shetty, BCCI director Purushotham S Kotian, Rathna K Shetty, Pramoda S Shetty and well wishers were present.

Sudha Alvy Ameen distributed traditional new moon Kashaya. Honorary chief secretary Sudhaker Uchil welcomed the gathering. Honorary chief secretary Sujatha R Shetty compered the programme and thanked everyone.
