Mumbai, July 28: Kannada department of Mumbai University and Kanaka Sabha Performing Arts Center, Chembur released three books at a programme held recently at Chembur
RCF academy hall.

Well known dramatist, member of the editorial board of Nesaru newspaper, Dr B R Manjunath released 'Sangeetha, sahitya, anusandhaana' and 'Jagadagala Kutoohala' by
Saroja Srinath published by Abhijith Prakashan. Drama director and honorary secretary of Karnataka Sangha, Dr Bharath Kumar Polipu released 'Kala Saurabha Saroja
Srinath' by Geetha Manjunath published by Mumbai University, Kannada department.



Students of Kanaka Sabha Performing arts, Chembur performed dances under the direction of Dr Siri Rama. Guests from Mysuru and Bengaluru were present. Kannada department research assistants Surekha Devadiga, Kumuda Alva and Anitha Shetty helped for the success of the programme.

Head of Kannada department of Mumbai university, Dr G N Upadhya chaired the programme.

Dr G N Upadhya welcomed everyone and delivered the keynote address. Dr Sirirama and Dr G N Upadhya honored the elite on the dais. Shamala Radhesh sang a prayer song. Nalina Prasad compered the programme. Anitha Shetty thanked the gathering.
