Mumbai: Bhandary Seva Samiti holds annual general body meeting

Mumbai, Jul 30: Bhandary Seva Samiti held its 65th annual general body meeting at Sion, here on July 28. President Shekar S Bhandary lit the traditional lamp and set the meeting in motion.

Seva Samithi vice president, advocate Ramanna M Bhandary, Prabhaker P Bhandary, joint secretary Shashidhar D Bhandary, joint treasurer Prakash Bhandary, women's wing president Shobha Suresh Bhandary Kadandale, vice president Pallavi Ranjith Bhandary, secretary Rekha A Bhandary and treasurer Kshama R Bhandary were on the dais.



Office bearers of the seva samiti, members and Bhandary community members present on the occasion, offered homage to community members and the elite who passed away in the previous year. Ranjith S Bhandary and Prakash Bhandary expressed their opinions and suggestions on behalf of the gathering.

Ria R Bhandary sang a prayer song. Honorary chief secretary Vijaya R Bhandary welcomed the gathering. Joint secretary Shashidhar D Bhandary presented the previous year's annual report and gave details of annual activities.

Treasurer Karunaker G Bhandary presented the annual accounts. Joint secretary Purushotham G Bhandary thanked the gathering.

The president and office bearers distributed scholarships and talent awards to the children of the members at the end of the meeting.
