Mumbai: Rajaka Sangha holds 81st annual meeting

Mumbai, Jul 31: Rajaka Sangha recently held its 81st annual meeting at Kohinoor auditorium, Dadar east.

President of the sangha, Sathish Salian who chaired the meeting and office bearers lit the traditional lamp and set the meeting in motion.

Members expressed their opinions, offered suggestions and conveyed their best wishes for the success of the sangha. Office bearers, executive committee members, regional committee, women's wing and youth wing office bearers for the year 2018-19 were elected. Dasu C Salian was unanimously elected new president. Similarly other office bearers were also elected.



Students in the community who secured highest marks were presented prizes and scholarships. The president and office bearers honoured M S Kunder and Sumati Kunder couple who celebrated the golden wedding anniversary and Satish Gujaran who ran 84 kilometers on international level and received Comrade honour.

The president honoured executive committee members Shashank Salian, Sumitha D Salian, Bhasker Kunder, Sanjiv Ekkar, Prakash Gujaran, Kumar Bangera, internal auditor Poovani Salian, CA Pradeep Kunder and others.

The meeting commenced after prayer from Dombivli region women's division members. A homage was offered for departed members and well wishers. Secretary Sumitra Palimar welcomed everyone, read the previous year's report, announced plans for the next year and compered the meeting.

Joint treasurer CA Vijaya Kunder outlined the details of annual accounts. Joint secretary Kiran Kunder gave details of activities during the year and thanked everybody. The meeting concluded after the National Anthem.
