Kasargod, Oct 14: Opposition leader in the Lok Sabha L K Advani has charged the Congress-led UPA government at the centre, of having failed in every conceivable field.

He was addressing a huge public gathering at Kasargod Talipadpu ground on Monday October 13, organized on the occasion of 'Vijay Sankalp Yatra'.

"The country is facing economic insecurity and collapse of the share market. Corruption has been rampant under the rule of the UPA government. Farmers are committing suicide almost on a daily basis. Terrorism is at its zenith and the security of the country is under threat. Because of the policy of minority appeasement followed by the Congress and the CPI(M) aimed at creating vote banks, the country is facing turmoil. Because of terrorism, anarchy has set in," Advani said.

Hindu leaders and the bishop have mutually agreed during discussions held at Delhi, that forcible religious conversion is not right. Sri Shankacharya had contributed immensely to the unity of Kerala through language and refinement. But the CPI(M) has unleashed violence in the state and dented democratic system, he charged.

He also deplored the state government policy of doling out annual scholarships and financial assistance of Rs 14,000 to every minority student in the state, as compared to only Rs 240 to a student from scheduled communities.

"I am happy to visit Kasargod, for the first time after BJP rose to power in Karnataka. The Vijaya Sankalp Yatra will help the BJP to rise to power at the centre. If the BJP is given a chance to rule the country again, apart from giving efficient administration on the lines of the erstwhile A B Vajpayee-led government, we will give top priority to rooting out corruption and providing transparant administration, he promised.

Advani inaugurated the state-wide campaign tour undertaken by Kerala State BJP Yuvamorcha president K Surendran, by handing him over the party flag. Kerala state BJP vice president Madikai Kammaran presided. Karnataka state BJP president and Mangalore MP D V Sadanand Gowda, MP Anant Kumar, Yuvamorcha national committee president Amit Thakoor, Kerala Province BJP president P K Krishnadas, and several other leaders addressed the gathering.

Earlier to the function, thousands of party workers went in a procession accompanied by musical bands and attractive tableaux, from the new bus stand of Kasargod to the venue of the public meeting.

Advaniji this is all waste of money and baseless talks to gain vote, if you want anything good for the country and the people which ever party you are try and solve the problems now to ease tension rather than talk negative and create more problems. Kal Kare to Aaj Kare...Aaj Kare to Abb. Shows Advanaji now how much love and respect your have for the country.

I would like to bring to light if and ever the BJP achieved anything during its stint in power.

Firstly the BJP did not have a confident trust vote in parliament on the nuclear deal issue, bcoz deep down their hearts they knew the deal was in favor of India, they did not have the will and skill to convince the people of the country on the pros and cons of the deal. They lacked the zest as they themselves couldnt keep their flock together during the vote.

    2. Baselss accusations of cash for vote scam to create chaos and confusion among the minds of the people, where tooo they couldnt prove the accusations

    3. creating unrest in the state of J&K for almost 60 days, by trying to block necessary items like milk, grocery and medicines to the kashmir valley and creating disharmony and demolishing the social fabric of the state in particular and the country as a whole.

     4. Non commited to the the cause of social unity and secularism in the states of Gujarat, Orissa and Karnataka by encouraging violence in the name of religion. Let Mr. Advani answer these questions and then critisize the present ruling party in power at the centre. Unfortunately in India the choice in choosing a political party in between Bad vs Worse............

The clarion call for the nation is inject, en masse, well-educated, deecent and morally sound young politicians a fine role model being Rahul Gandhi. If Parties are made up of such people then, and only then, will India reach Bapuji's dream of a truly secular Democracy and not with politicians who are suffering from an incorrigible Narcissistic libido and are dangerousy divisive and manipulative even at a ripe old age - when one normally ought to be childlike.

Advani is living in a different planet. That is why he blames UPA. Share Market has collapsed all over the world. UPA has (PM & Chidambaram) two best leaders on the job with full knowledge of the subject.

Diesel is cheaper in India than in many Gulf countries. Still BJP went on strike... a reason for inflation. Can you imagine BJP handling todays Economic crisis? Advani is expert in mixing religion with politics. They are good in dividing Indid on communal basis. God save India from Advani as PM candidate.

Advaniji, don't blame the UPA Govt for even if one PIN falls in BJP ruled states. Union Govt is doing a wonderful job & even the Historic Nuclear Deal is signed. This has become very costly for you & your party. No Govt will support Terrorism.

Don't give childish talks, saying Union Govt has failed in every field. Indian people are not foolish to listen to your stupid statements Please take VRS from Politics or you will be forced to retire. BJP is a Communal Party & no doubt about it.

Padmanabha Hatts Off to you. As a RSS Sevak you have said this, Ha Advaniji listen what Hindus are saying about you. Shame on you Mr. Advaniji. You are becoming a PM is just a Dream which will never happen & will remain as a Dream.

You are not a proper person to be a PM. What you did in your 5 years rule, Indian people saw. Due to Vajpaiji you could rule for 5 years. If it was your ruling, then I think it would have been only 5 days. Take Political Retirement. Its better. Union Governmenrt has not failed. Your party has failed.

This Story fits BJP very well.

There was a millionaire who was bothered by severe eye pain. He consulted so many physicians and was getting his treatment done. He did not stop consulting galaxy of medical experts he consumed heavy loads of drugs and underwent hundreds of injections. But the ache persisted with great vigour than before. At last a monk who has supposed to be an expert in treating such patients was called for by the millionaire.

The monk understood his problem and said that for sometime he should concentrate only on green colours and not to fall his eyes on any other colours. The millionaire got together a group of painters and purchased barrels of green color and directed that every object his eye was likely to fall to be painted in green colour just as the monk had directed. When the monk came to visit him after few days, the millionaire's servants ran with buckets of green paints and poured on him since he was in red dress, lest their master not see any other colour and his eye ache would come back.

Hearing this monk laughed said 'If only you had purchased a pair of green spectacles, worth just a few rupees, you could have saved these walls and trees and pots and all other articles and also could have saved a large share of his fortune. You cannot paint the world green.' Let us change our vision and the world will appear accordingly.

It is foolish to shape the world, let us shape ourselves first.

With a weak BJP leadership , the violent sections of BJP are having a field day. When Vajpayee was in full control, the moderates witin BJP had full control and the party became popular. Now the extemists in the party have taken an upper hand and top leadership in BJP is singing the same extremist tune

All Advani talks about is hate, hate and more hate. This is his own frustration for not being able to become PM of the country. Instead of criticising the government at every single opportunity, Advani should come up with some constructive criticism for a change.

During the BJP rule, what has he done for Indians that he is so proud about? At least, because of the UPA Govt, our financial situation is more stable than the rest of the world. Our defences are stronger than before and inflation is within controllable levels. Thanks to people like Advani and their hate-filled rhetoric, Indians are becoming more and more polarised from each other. The BJP should get rid of cranky old people such as Advani and Vajpayee and bring young blood who can give the country and their own party a positive direction. Mr. Advani, the country needs economic stability, jobs, price control, religious tolerance and effective education. Have you got any solution for that?

I ask only one question to Advani, In what field BJP has succeded? It is better if Advani tells us that, no? In communal harmony? Or Religious freedom? Or narrowing the gap of different sects of his own faithfulls? Or Developing the country? I hope he talks about it rather blaming the Union Government. Union Government atleast talk about unity, development and they succeded somewhat in that though they have the stiff opposition.
