Erasing hunger of poor people is main intention

“The social service group is started to reach the remainder food to those who are struggling for at least one meal a day. The food will be reached to orphanages, old age homes, school for especially abled and beggars to erase their hunger,” he said.

“It is intended to form a strong team and have different divisions in taluks. If we are informed of remainder food during gatherings and celebrations, we will reach the food to suitable places. But we need the cooperation of donors as we need a house to keep the food, vessels and vehicle for the purpose,” he said.

“Our office bearers have already contacted special residential school for mentally retarded children, Sri Krishna Balaniketan of Kukkikatte, Lifecare old age home of K G road, Manasa special children’s school in Pamboor and a few other orphanages in Udupi to reach the food.
