22-yr-old Indian man arrested for luring, having sex with 11-yr-old girl in US

New York, Nov 22 (PTI): A 22-year-old Indian-origin man in the US has been arrested and charged with sexual enticement of a minor girl through social media, authorities have said.

Sachin Aji Bhaskar, a resident of New York's Buffalo city, faces a minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, maximum of life in prison and a USD 250,000 fine.

Assistant US Attorney Wei Xiang said Tuesday that Bhaskar, using a social media application in August, contacted the 11-year-old girl in Buffalo claiming to be 15.

He picked her up by car and returned her home approximately three hours later after having sex with her.

He made an initial appearance before US Magistrate Judge Kenneth Schroder and is being held pending a detention hearing.

The criminal complaint is the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Child Exploitation Task Force.

    The only difference between India and the United States is the justice system.
    While in India even after 'Me Too' exposed the BJP's Rajya Sabha MP M J Akbar, he is still holding the office and reinducted into the press bureau.
    I appreciate the United States Justice system. Hope India will learn something from this incident.

    Peter KSA,dont worry,it is not police in USA take care of him but the inmates are more worse than here or Police.They will make to understand who is the boss inside,and when he doesnt listen to their deals,get the rest of police what they saved.what he did to the girl ,he will experience inside.what a nonsense .They show their dirty face not only in India but in foreign countrys too.shame for India.whatever we do in India ,shouldalso not practice in foreign countrys ,like this type of cases

    If both are minors( less than 18) or both are major's (above 18) ...then there is no case...if one is minor other is major... this type of prosecution is common in US...

    Not only social websites are monitored...there are decoy Police acting as minor girls to entice these morons....

    Police also send decoy minors to buy liqour ....if without verifying the age if shopkeeper sells liqour then Police will charge them as well...

    This is good for society ....so everybody follow the law...and on their tows...

    Langoo, our Feku Chacha visited USA so many times to HUGGGG Trump but never improved, where as in India, Kidnaps and Rapes increased by many fold in Chaddi ruled states!!!!
