Udupi: Anil Rodrigues Brahmavar elected new general secretary of O S C Educational Society

Udupi, Nov 29: Anil Rodrigues, Brahmavar elected is the new general secretary of O S C Educational Society for the year 2018 – 19.

The elections were held on Sunday November 25 in the presence of Fr Eldho M Paul, president O S C Educational Society and Fr Lawrence D’Souza, vice president, O S C
Educational Society.

The term for the newly formed committee is 2018 – 20.

O S C Educational Society started in the year 1953 founded by the Fr P G Koshi.

O S C Educational Society Cosmopolitan Higher Primary School, Brahmavar, Cosmopolitan Higher Primary School, Mabukala, S M S Primary and Higher primary School – state syllabus in English and Kannada medium, S M S Pre University College, S M S Degree College and Post-Graduation College come under the society.

Anil Rodrigues, served as trustee of St Mary’s Orthodox Syrian Church, Brahmavar during the term 2014 – 18. During his tenure, the newly built church was constructed and inaugurated.

Other office bearers are Anil B Rodrigues - general secretary, Marton D Souza - college secretary, Alan Rohan Vaz - CBSE secretary, Alwin Lobo, Novel D Souza, Arun d Silva, Edwin Lewis, Pious Almeida, Thomas Rodrigues, Laveena Lewis, Sofia Rodrigues, Joy dsa, Wilfred dsa, Francis Mascarenhas, Alfonse Dsouza.
