Mangaluru: St Agnes College organises day-long ‘ComQuest’ fest

Mangaluru, Dec 4: The department of Commerce organized one day fest ‘ComQuest’ on 3rd December, 2018 at the St. Agnes College campus. This fest was organized with the purpose of preparing and training the students to face future challenges and to provide a platform to showcase their talents.

Sr Dr Jeswina, principal of the college, Nimitha, the HOD of Commerce, Sheryl P, the dean of Commerce and Management, SAACSA coordinators Vineetha and Delan Lobo, assistant professors of Commerce, Naureen, the vice-president of Commerce were the dignitaries during the inaugural.

Belisha of III BCom welcomed the chief guest, the dignitaries and the gathering. The programme started with a prayer song by Rishel and team of III BCom to invoke the blessings of Lord Almighty. Vaibhavi and group of II BCom performed a dance to add more colour and life to the programme.



The principal of the college, Sr Dr Jeswina was the chief guest for the occasion. The programme was inaugurated by the principal with lighting of the lamp. While addressing, she encouraged every student to participate in the activities conducted during the day. She even highlighted on the choices one makes in life to achieve success.

Naureen, the vice-president, briefed about the various competitions for the day. Nazlin Hathim of III BCom compered the programme and Sheryl of II BCom proposed the vote of thanks for the morning’s inaugural function.

The fest concluded with a valedictory ceremony. Sr Dr Venissa, vice-principal of the college, was the chief guest. In her address, she said persistence and hard work is the key to success. She congratulated all the students for their enthusiastic participation. Vineetha and Delan Lobo, the faculty of Commerce, announced the prize winners and Sr Dr Venissa gave away the prizes. Naureen compered the valedictory and Pratheeksha of III BCom proposed the vote of thanks.
