Mangaluru, Dec 5: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced ten percent discount on certain bus fares. The reduced fare will be applicable for all KSRTC Rajahamsa, non air-conditioned sleepers, sleepers, Volvo, and multi axle bus services.
The cut will be in force from December 5 to December 20. During the peak period starting from December 21 to January 15, normal rates will be applicable. The rates will go down again from January 16 to March 31.
The concession is being offered to attract passengers towards the KSRTC buses as the number of people travelling on long routes gets reduced during the said period on account of examinations of the children etc, said divisional officer of KSRTC here, Deepak Kumar.
