Karkala: Youth from Belman falls from train, dies

Karkala, Dec 6: In a tragic incident that occurred on the early morning of Tuesday, December 4, Shailesh Rao (25), a resident of Mundkur near Belaman in the taluk, who was returning by train with his friends after completing the sight seeing of Kodaikanal  slipped and fell on the tracks at Badagara railway station in Kerala and died on the spot.  
 
Shailesh had come from Dubai on vacation and had gone to Kodaikanal with three of his friends, who were his classmates in college.
 


 
After sight seeing of Kodaikanal they were returning back to Mangaluru by traing. At around 2.30 am on Tuesday, Shailesh got down from the train to buy drinking water. When he was buying the water, the train started moving.
 
Shailesh who became anxious at the thought of missing the train, tried to board it and got slipped in the process and came under the wheels of the train. This information is given by the railway police of Badagara station.
