Bengaluru, Dec 7: Kannur Greenfield International airport is getting ready for inauguration on December 9. The airport is 80 kilometers away from Kodagu and 160 kilometers from Mysuru. It is close to Salem, Tamil Nadu and Nilgiris district travellers also. It is convenient for passengers of districts in the borders of three states.
Six planes per week will fly to the new Kannur International airport starting from December 9. The flight from Bengaluru to Kannur will take 80 minutes.
Flight G8 624 will take off from Kannur at 1 pm and land at Kempegowda International Airport at 2.20 pm. Similarly flight G8 625 will take off from Kempegowda International airport at 2.50 pm and will land in Kannur at 4.10 pm.
