Kasargod: 12-year-old boy dies after falling from tree into well

Kasargod, Dec 9: A 12-year-old boy fell from a tree and died here at Pallikere on Sunday December 9.

The deceased has been identified as Abhijith, son of Chandran from Pallikere Mookad.

The boy had climbed the tree to pluck gooseberries when a branch broke and he fell into a well.

The locals and fire squad rushed to rescue the boy, but he was declared brought dead by the doctors at Kanhangad hospital.

The body has been handed over to the family after post mortem.

Hosadurga police have registered a case in this regard.
