Bantwal, Dec 10: A person from Manihalla near here ended his life. It is said that the victim, who was working as daily deposit collection agent of a bank, was facing financial crisis.
Ganesh (40) from Manihalla hung himself when there was no one around. He was working for a cooperative society at B C Road. He had left home early on Saturday. His wife came back from Mangaluru at 9.30 pm and found out that her husband had hung himself inside his home.
The deceased had served as treasurer of Bantwal taluk Yuvavahini and was an activist of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
A case relating to this unnatural death was filed at the town police station here.
