Udupi, Dec 10: A woman, identified as Shanta from Kelarkalabettu here has filed complaint in Malpe police station against her husband. She said that her husband had married her five years back after falling in love with her. She stated that he has cheated her by marrying another woman after five years since his first marriage.
She says that she had married Amar Devadiga from Gundibailu here after loving him. The couple has a female child. "After staying together for five years, differences arose between us. Amar now lives in another house. Without informing anyone else, he has married another girl. When questioned, he physically tortured me an hurled abusive words at me," Shanta said, duly seeking the police to take appropriate action against her husband.
