Mangaluru, Jan 14: The finale of the ISA Project of class 3 and 4 was held in the Lourdes Central School grounds on January 11 under the theme ‘Dignity of Labour – Honour Labour Today and Everyday’.
The programme was graced by humongous guests from Britain, Nigeria and India including principal, vice-principal and ISA co-ordinators. Different categories of community helpers were honoured and their work appreciated.
The programme commenced with the prayer song, followed by a graceful welcome by Emily, significance of Labour Day read by Shreya, vote of thanks by Mahima, Ayushman and Shaifa, wishing of birthday students, Tanzanian dance, potter dance and fisherman dance, the folk dances of Karnataka and Goa. The house team members of Jade and Coral house of class 4 were awarded for excelling in the quiz competition.
Principal LCS Fr Robert D’Souza was all in praises for the excellent value based programme show cased by the grade 3 and 4 students. Father appreciated the enormous services rendered by the community helpers and asked the students to show their due respect to all kinds of community helpers.
The programme concluded with the finale song ‘We all live in harmony’ where the class 3 students walked through the ramp as community helpers in a fashionable manner. All the guests who were inspired from the celebration left the portals of Lourdes Central School with everlasting memories.
