Udupi: Cricketer Siddhu to Participate in Jata against Terrorism

Udupi, Feb 13: The students' awareness campaign against terrorism activities will be held in the  KMC Stadium, Manipal on Satrurday February 14.

A Jata is being held with the theme of saving the nation from terrorist activities.

The participation of the former cricketer Navjoth Singh Siddhu as the chief guest will be the special attractiopn of the Jata. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

Aravind Limbavali, state higher education minister, will inaugurate the programme.

Dr V S Acharya, state home minister, will preside over the function.

Sandhya Pai, managing editor, 'Taranga' weekly, Dr B M Hegde, reitred vice-chancellor, Manipal University, Dr N R Shetty, retired vice-chancellor, Bangalore University and Dr H S Ballal, pro-chancellor, Manipal University, will participate as  chief guests.
