Mangalore: Registering of Case a Political Conspiracy, says Renuka Chowdhury

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Feb 18: Union minister for women and child welfare Renuka Chowdhury has termed the registering of a case against her in the city as a political conspiracy, aimed at diverting the attention of the citizens away from the real issue.

"Clearly the women were dealt with shabbily in the pub attack incident. Miscreants and fascist people have now hatched a political conspiracy to divert people's mind," she reacted.

She claimed that she had not received any legal notice. She also made it clear that there is no question of tendering of apology on this issue.

If notice served for cabinet minister who is woman It is right for the minister to file a law suit against who served the notice and this case must be filed in center under the jurisdiction of Delhi. It is possible to drag them to Delhi instead Mangalore because Renuka Choudury has the right to say and safeguard the interest of women. No men can challenge a woman who stands for women. We suppose no person from Magalore yet spent jail term in Delhi. It is time now!

Its a shame for Managalore that such an incident occured in the city in broad day light. Its a shame to all Mangaloreans to be mute spectators to political drama covering up the incident. If fighting for the cause of attrocities on women is not recognized as a noble cause, then more the shame on us Managaloreans for electing such incompetent people to lead us.
