The Beedinagudde dump is very dangerous in the long run if allowed to remain in this state, not so much in the solid, but rather the vapour phase. The effects of its smelly and hazy air pollution is clearly present throughout the Udupi area, particularly during and even through the nocturnal and/or early morning hours.

I feel sorry for those elderly couples who go for early morning walks for they do not seem to know what they are breathing. It is better that they stay home and perhaps, go to the beach in the early evening hours. As a physician in the the HM must be very aware of this.

It is best if the ruling government is more concerned with health and civic matters of its citizens, rather than terrorising people in the name of religions and morale.
