Mangalore: RSS Should Stay Away from Politics—Ram Bhat

Daijiworld Media Network—Mangalore (TU/CN)

Mangalore, Mar 17: The founder of Swabhimani Vedike, Rama Bhat, said on Monday March 16, that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) should not interfere in party politics, as its is a power without responsibilities.

Speaking to media persons in an informal chat, he claimed that the name of Mangalore constituency BJP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel is not to be seen in any of the eight committees of the party in the district.

“The selection of Nalin Kumar is a humiliation for the members of eight committees. It is also against democracy”, he alleged.

Bhat added that the Swabhimani Vedike would definitely contest in Mangalore Lok Sabha constituency and will field its candidates in other districts based upon the demand.

Bhat said the Vedike would seek the support of the Sri Rama Sena in the elections. He also added that he is ready to negotiate with the leaders of the ruling party if they are willing to correct their mistakes.
