Kundapur, Mar 18: Alwyn Quadros Kota was unanimously elected as the president of Catholic Sabha Kundapur deanery in its general body meeting held here recently.
At the meeting held in the auditorium of St Mary’s College, office-bearers for the Year 2009-2010 were also elected under the supervision of electoral officer, Dr Sony D’Costa, ex-president of the Sabha. Fr Alban D’Souza, dean of Kundapur deanery and Roophas Baretto, ex-president of the organization, were present on the dais.
Vinay Pais Kundapur, Sylvia Rodrigues Kundapur, Shanti Pereira Byndoor, Prescilla Menezes Tallur, Molly D’Souza Trasi, Stany D’Silva Tallur and Fr Alban D’Souza Kundapur were elected as vice-president, secretary, joint secretary, Sandesh representative, treasurer and spiritual director of the Sabha respectively.
