Banwal: Ascetics should Stay Away from Politics - Kemar Swamiji

Bantwal, Mar 18: "The ascetics and spiritual leaders who have the onus of imparting refinement to the youngsters by properly educating them and guiding them, should keep away from politics," advised Kemar Esha Vithaladas Swamiji.

He was delivering the benedictory address at the religious meeting held on the occasion of the concluding ceremony of the 53rd annual Bhajans programme organized by Nityananda Swami Bhajana Mandir, Navoor Old Gate here on Tuesday March 17.

The Swamiji also wanted the spiritual heads who have renounced worldly comforts, to re-route their energies towards doing away with the inequalities found in the society.

Zilla panchayat standing committee chairman K Santosh Kumar Bhandary presided. Municipal member B dinesh Bhandary, Samskara Bharati leader Dayanand G Kattalsar, Hindu Yuvasene organizing secretary Nagesh Bajilkeri and Sanjeev Amin, Baddakatte Nityanand Mandir trustee B Yogish Saphalya and B Sadashiv Bhandary were present.
