Puttur: BJP Delegation Seeks Ban on KFD

Puttur, Mar 19: A delegation comprising of BJP activists met the Dakhshina Kannada district superintendent of police on Wednesday March 18, and urged him to recommend to the government to ban the activities of Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) for its alleged attempts to disturb peace in the society.

President of Puttur assembly constituency unit of the BJP Nanya Achut Mooditaya, local municipal president Rajesh Bannur, taluk panchayat president Chanila Timmappa Shetty and Puttur Urban Development Authority chairman Bami Ashok Shenoy led the delegation.

The delegation also visited the garage and goods office which were torched by miscreants. It met U Poovappa, veteran trader, who was injured in the stone pelting incident at his home and wished him speedy recovery.

    i would request these bjp deligations!!! to seek ban on the bd, rss, vhp & srs firstly & then let try other organisations. did these people visit the places where minorities have been attacked??? this is only the election gimik

    What a foolish idea... !!! BD initiated the communal war in Puttur.. BD Stopped the bus .. attacked the students.. Then you invited KFD to act on it.. If BJP is in favor of Humanity and Communal Harmony Then send the request to BAN BD & KFD .. which will prove how much you are bothered of communal Harmony... Because of BD we hindus loosing our images every where .. !!!

    Mr. Ravi Mangalore you are absolutely correct. If we need peace in Karnataka First we should ban Hindu terrorist (Uneducated, jobless)groups Bajrang dal, RSS, SRS,VHP,Sangh Pariwar, Hindu jagarana Vedhike Etc..
