Mangalore, Mar 31: The ninth edition of the Beltangady taluk Kannada Sahitya Sammelan will be held at Sri Ganesh Kalamandir Southadka near Kokkada in Beltangady taluk on Saturday April 4.
Speaking to media persons at the Press Club here on Tuesday March 31, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, president, Dakshina Kannada district Kannada Sahitya Parishat said that Dr Na Mogasale will inaugurate a one-day conference.
He added that Shivarama Shishila will preside over the event, while Dr P S Yadapaditthaya, dean, Mangalore University, will be the chief guest.
The conference is being jointly organized by Beltangady taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Dakshina Kannada District Kannada Sahitya Parishat and will have three sessions.
