Raj Thackeray lashes out at PM Modi for criticizing Rajiv Gandhi

Daijiworld Media Network – Mumbai

Mumbai, May 6: “Hatred, endless lying and absolutely no qualms in transgressing the decorum of public life are the 3 characteristics that mark the term of Narendra Modi,” said Raj Thackeray in a tweet on Sunday.

“This stands intensified with his latest statements against the late Rajiv Gandhi and the nation will definitely not pardon it,” he added.

The tweet comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a statement terming former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi died as corrupt number 1.

Modi, taking a jibe at the Congress president Rahul Gandhi at a rally in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh on Saturday, had said: "Your father was termed 'Mr. Clean' by his courtiers but his life ended as 'bhrashtachari' (corrupt) number 1.".

Modi’s remarks attracted criticism from Congress while BJP leaders have defended him.

Shamefull on the part of our PM invoking Rajiv Gndhi's name to win elecions. That only shows to what level he will stoop for his selfish gains. Anyhow we cannot expect anything better for an uneducated PM.

As suggested by our respected ex pm the exit door has to be shown to this modi sarkar for the five years of traumatic experience he has given to our beloved nation.
