Bantwal: Depressed Young Man Commits Suicide

Bantwal, Apr 7: Charlie Taurus (36), a resident of Bolangady in Panemangalore near here, committed suicide at his home by consuming poison on Sunday April 5.

As soon as the family members came to know that he had consumed poison, he was admitted into a private hospital in Mangalore. The doctors in the hospital declared that he was brought dead.

It is suspected that Taurus was depressed as his efforts to get married had failed since long. Bantwal town policemen have registered a case.

    Sad. May his soul rest in peace. Mass Wedding program needs to be taken to rural areas where the real poor live. People remain unmarried mainly for poverty and the single men/women are vulnerable especially when old and this is not good to our society too. Instead of having a lavish wedding, let us cut down on something and donate that amount to the Mass-Wedding Program.
