Beltangady: Motor bike hits tree - rider loses life

Beltangady, May 14: Reju (45) from Kerala died after the motor bike he was riding hit a tree. The accident happened on Monday May 12 evening near Bayalu Basadi in Neriya village in the taluk.

Narayana B R (37) from Rasarottu in Indabettu, who was riding the pillion, was injured. It is said that excessive speed of the vehicle caused the accident.

A case about the accident was registered in Beltangady traffic police station.
