Udupi, May 14: On Sunday May 11, a person who momentarily appeared like having been under the influence of the divine, collapsed in a few moments and lost his life. The 'Daiva Tambila' service had been arranged at his home that day as per the custom.
The deceased was Bonyolu (70) from Mukkudujeddu, Dakhas House, Perdoor village. He was suffering high blood pressure since long and was treated by a doctor of Muniyal Ayurvedic Hospital for the same.
During the 'Daiva Tambila' programme at his house at around 8.30 pm on Sunday, it appeared that Bonyolu came under the influence of the divine. However, he fell to the ground soon thereafter. He was immediately taken to hospital where the doctors confirmed that he was brought dead.
