Mangaluru: 7-day free summer camp by Chamara Foundation inaugurated

Mangaluru, May 14: Under the banner of Chamara Foundation, a seven-day free summer camp was inaugurated on May 13 at GUPS (Fisheries) school, Kulai.

Pusphavathi inaugurated the camp. Premanath Marne, was the chief guest. Guest of honour Shirish Kumar and headmistress of the school Sukeshini were present during the inaugural.

Managing trustee of Chamara Foundation Rachana and other trustees, Rajeeva Kanchan, Shirish, Khethan, Manish K Salian, and Divya were also present during the inaugural. Valedictory of the camp will be held on May 19.

Around 60 students have registered their name for the camp. Various educative and fun-filled activities like public speaking, craft, painting, dance, singing, personality development, calligraphy etc will be taught during the camp. Renowned resource persons and dignitaries of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi will participate in the camp.

The event was moderated by Manish K Salian and vote of thanks was rendered by Rajeeva Kanchan.
