Kundapur, May 17: A young migrant worker attempted to sexually assault a five-year-old girl at his work place in Gangolli on Thursday afternoon, May 17. The accused who fled after the crime, who was identified as Rajastan resident Bisnoy (21), was arrested by police.

The accused Prakash Bisony was doing grilling work in a house at Gangolli on Thursday afternoon. The house people came to know that he had tried to sexually assault the child when there was nobody else at home. He was arrested at late night on Thursday after the girl’s family lodged a complaint at Gangolli police station.

The arrested was produced at Kundapur court on Friday evening. He has been remanded to fifteen days judicial custody.

    parents should be careful while leaving thier young ones at home when outsiders are there..he shold be punished and police should set an example so that such cases does not occur again in our places... But the question here is when none were at home ??? why did they leave behind such a small kid all alone with the accompany of unknown people....

    Ashaming .victim is a fiveyear old child!where is the feelings and normal sense of the man?and polic ehas no handcuffs ?he is taking the accused without hand cuffs and with hands leading like a bride?no wonder people run off suddenly and escape.Punish him and dont let him out.
