Beltangady: Mentally Deranged Man Ends Life after Torching Own House

Beltangady, Apr 30: A person from Aladangady in the taluk who was suffering from psychological problems, committed suicide early morning on Wednesday. Earlier, he had partly burnt down his house.

Sadanand Devadiga (45), son of Belraya Devadiga from Kolakamajal, Aladangady, had partly burnt down his house on the night of Thursday April 24. Presumably in the wee hours on Wednesday April 29, he ended his life by hanging himself from the beams of the house roof.

Venur policemen, who have registered a case, feel that Devadiga resorted to this act out of depression.
