Bangalore: SSLC Results Out, Girls Shine

Bangalore, May 1: The results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (SSLC) 2008-09 are out, and as usual, girls have performed better than the boys.

The pass percentage is 73.8 among girls, and 67 among boys. The total pass percentage is 70.22. Udupi has topped the list with 86.39 per cent while Bidar stands last with just 41 per cent having passed the examinations.

Phone services

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is providing the results through integrated voice response system, for the landline and mobile customers. Callers from Bangalore and outside Bangalore can dial 1255225/1250112, while callers dialling from outside Bangalore have to dial 080-1255225/1250112.

Cellphone customers can get the results by dialling 12506/1250112 or sms SSLChall ticket number to 55352/57777, according to a press release issued by BSNL.
