Mangalore: Scooteriest Killed in Accident near Hosangady

Mangalore, May 2: In an accident that occurred near Hosangady check-post near Manjeshwar on national highway 17 on the night of Thursday April 30, Kaushik (20), son of Kumar, residing near Kalika Parameshwari temple, Hosangady, lost his life. The deceased was a BJP activist.

Kaushik, who worked for a sound system hiring shop in Hosangady, was bringing diesel for the generator, when his two-wheeler suffered a head-on collision with a Qualis vehicle coming from Mangalore direction. Kaushik, who was tossed to the road due to the impact, was immediately carried to the hospital, but to no avail.

Kaushik was to go to the gulf on May 10 in search of greener pastures in life. Manjeshwar police have registered a case.
