Mangalore: DSS to Observe Exploitation Awareness Day on May 3

Mangalore, May 2: The Awareness Day of the Exploited will be observed at Samrat Ashok Chakravarti auditorium of Siddarthanagar, Bajpe near here on Sunday May 3.

The event is being organized by Dakshina Kannada district branch of the State Dalit Sangharsh Samiti.

Venkatagiriyaiah Mandya, convener will inaugurate the event to be conducted as part of the 118th birth celebrations of Dr Ambedkar.

Sundar Salian, district convener, M Devdas, organizing convener, V Narayanaswami Kolar, Hennoor Srinivas Bangalore, Satya Shimoga, Sundar Ullal, divisional convener and J Srinivas, state committee member, will participate in the programme.

A meeting to re-constitute the committee will be conducted after the programme.

The district unit of Dalit Sangharsh Samiti has requested the dalits to take part in the prorgramme in large numbers and contribute to its thumping success, stated in a release.
