Bantwal, May 4: Suresh Moolya (22), a resident of Narimogaru Mukve near Vittal in the taluk, lost his life on Sunday May 3 morning, after a fatal fall in Kukkaje Taridala in Manila village. Suresh, working as a mechanic in Badiyadka, was going on his bike to Kukkaje temple when his motor bike skidded, throwing him off balance, resulting in extensive injuries.
The bike rider had fallen near a heap of crushed stones on the roadside with grievous injuries. Sridhar, a resident of Manila who was passing by the road, saw him and carried him on his jeep to Puttur hospital. The youth died on his way to the hospital.
Vittal police have registered a case.
