Bidar: Suspected Terrorist Lived with Different Name in Humnabad

Daijiworld Media Network - Bidar (SP)

Bidar, May 4: It is learnt, that a terror-suspect named Mohammed Nissar, recently arrested by the Andhra Pradesh police for his alleged link with the international terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Toiba, was living in a village in Humnabad taluk in the district, since the last few years.

Police sources said, Mohammed Nissar, after escaping from the eyes of the Andhra Pradesh police in the year 2003, lived in Miraj Colony of Munna A Khelli village in Humnabad taluk on national highway 9, with the name 'S K Madia'. Initially, he worked in a hotel and later started a retail clothes business. Reportedly, he also played cricket with the local youngsters.

Mohammed Nissar was living in a rented house owned by Farzan, got ration card in that name and recently dabbed in real estate business too.  He was a resident of Kissanbagh in Hyderabad and was suspended from service, after working for some time as a constable in the armed police force of that state.

Even though Nissar was arrested for his alleged involvement with the blasts that occurred in Hyderabad and Secunderabad on August 29, 2001, he was later released on bail. It is gathered, that using his contacts with Aziz, an active activist of Lashkar-e-Toiba, he went to Bangladesh and got trained there. As he failed to appear before the Hyderabad jail as per the bail terms, a non-bailable arrest warrant had been issued against him. To escape from being arrested, he used to live in Humnabad taluk, it is said.

In Bangalore however, home minister Dr V S Acharya, when questioned by the media said he is not aware of the arrest of any terror-suspect by the Andhra Pradesh policemen from Bidar district and that he had asked for information from the senior officials in the police department.

There is no place for any terrorist in Karnataka. Out state should be free from all sorts of terror, be it islamic or hindu terror. We want peace nothing but peace. Thats it. Perperators must be booked and tried under law irrespective of their faith and affiliation and there should not be any political intervention.
